Data stored on your CloudLive is backed up on to multiple storage servers at our data centres in the UK ensuring your data is fully protected.

Our network is protected by enterprise-grade firewalls ensuring that once your data is on our servers only you and the people you want to access your data can.

Files stored on our servers are encrypted, using military grade, AES-256 encryption, so in the very unlikely event that our data storage is compromised and data accessed, it would be meaningless. The data is encrypted from the device between the desktop client and the CloudLive servers using 256-bit SSL encryption to avoid interception of data between your device and our servers.

User’s data can only be accessed using the account holders secure password, except where it is shared publicly when it is visible to everyone through the sharing portal (depending on share settings).

We have strict processes in place to ensure access control to our data centres using access cards, pin codes, biometric access methods and 24/7 CCTV coverage. We can close a CloudLive account if the customer violates copyright regulations by publicly sharing data that they do not own, but data stored privately on CloudLive is private and cannot be accessed by anyone other than the account holder.
