FTP Support
Quick start information for Apple Mac users
To connect using Cyberduck:
- Download Cyberduck from http://cyberduck.ch
- Run Cyberduck and click Open Connection
- In the login box, enter ftp.cloudlive.co as the server name
- Enter your CloudLive account e-mail address as the username and the password
- Click Connect
- Once logged in you will have access to your ProDrive and can drag and drop to move, upload and download files from the ProDrive section of your CloudLive account.
To connect using Panic Transmit:
- Download and install Panic Transmit from www.panic.com/transmit/
- Start Transmit. A connection window will open - make sure the Connect tab is selected (above the right-hand pane)
- In the Server field enter ftp.cloudlive.co
- Enter your CloudLive account e-mail address as the username and the password
- Click Connect to start the FTP connection. Once connected, you will see your ProDrive files in the right-hand pane
Quick start information for Windows users
For Windows users, we recommend using the CloudLive Desktop Sync software to access your files. Once you install the software you can access all files on your ProDrive at superfast speeds and take advantage of advanced features.
However, you can also connect to your ProDrive using FTP if you wish.
To connect from your Windows PC:
- Open Windows Explorer and enter ftp.cloudlive.co in the address bar
- Enter your CloudLive account e-mail address and the password
- Your ProDrive files will appear in the Explorer window
General FTP Information (for advanced users)
Our FTP service is a fully FTP compliant (including support for file upload and download resume functionality). You can use any FTP client software to connect to your ProDrive. The FTP server details are as follows:
Server: ftp.cloudlive.co (IP), Port 21
Username: the e-mail address registered on your account
Password: the password you chose during signup
