- Why can't I backup Exchange? Why can't I backup live databases?
At present the CloudLive client is unable to backup Exchange or live SQL databases as these are not compatible with the version of VSS currently used.
This will be rectified in a future release.
In the meantime you can export to a static file in a folder, and back up that folder.
